Long Heatwaves Are A Thing Of The Past In Illinois

Long stretches of 100 degree weather used to be common in Illinois, but they never happen any more. In 1936, Palestine Illinois had eighteen consecutive days over 100 degrees. The last year to generate a full week over 100 degrees was 1953.

    Obama gets led by the hand on a short trip to Alaska and one would think according to the press that he was Teddy Roosevelt exploring the Amazon River in wooden canoes. How I hate such pansies!
