    He should have been in Paris a few weeks earlier. It is pretty dumb to use such terminology.

    Mass shootings are much less common, outside the USA. Might have been a better option.

When will we admit the man is malevolent to the United States and about every traditional value upon which this country was built! Name ONE THING he has done that really has been of benefit to the people of this country in general! Name one time he has shown respect for the Constitution by his actions. Show one time he has shown fidelity as Commander and Chief towards those that serve.

    These values obviously are from the developed countries.

    North Korea’s third illegal nuclear test on February 12, 2013, was followed by increased international sanctions, that prompted escalating threats from North Korea to make nuclear missile strikes against U.S. allies, South Korea and Japan, and the mainland United States. President Obama denied that North Korea could deliver on these threats, claiming that North Korea does not yet have nuclear armed missiles–despite assessments to the contrary by DIA, CIA, and NATO.

    Three months earlier, on December 12, 2012, North Korea successfully orbited a satellite, the KSM-3, thereby demonstrating the capability to deliver a small nuclear warhead to intercontinental ranges–against any nation on Earth. The Congressional Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack assessed that Russia, China, and North Korea (with help from Russia) have probably developed nuclear weapons of special design that produce a low explosive yield and high gamma ray output in order to generate an extraordinarily powerful EMP field. The Russians term these “Super-EMP” weapons. Independently, South Korean military intelligence and a Chinese military commentator in open sources credit North Korea with having Super-EMP warheads….

    Most of this is about watching the internet and the [new] Directorate of Digital Innovation. but there are some real gems in this about CAGW and other stuff I just had to comment on.

    ….In the past three years, there have been more outbreaks of instability than at any time since the collapse of the Soviet Union, matching the rate we saw during decolonization in the 1960s. This has not just been a period of protests and government change, but of violent insurgency and, in particular, of breakdowns in many states’ ability to govern.

    Ongoing conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, Yemen, Libya, and parts of Africa are clear examples. The human toll is reflected in the UN’s recent announcement that the number of refugees and internally displaced persons in the world is the highest it has been since World War II. And of course, all this localized strife gives rise to the persistent threat of international terrorism.

    When CIA analysts look for deeper causes of this rising instability, they find nationalistic, sectarian, and technological factors that are eroding the structure of the international system. They also see socioeconomic trends, the impact of climate change, and other elements that are cause for concern. Let me touch upon a couple of them….

    Across the globe, in both authoritarian and democratic societies, governments are finding it increasingly difficult to meet the demands—realistic or not—of their skeptical and restive populaces…. And as we have seen, when people become disillusioned with the powers that be, social media enable them to more quickly and easily form associations that defy the status quo…. [Well it is nice to know the Sheeple are awakening.]

    Freedom House in 2014 reported more declines than gains in the quality of democracy worldwide. Worsening ethno-sectarian and socioeconomic strains are eroding democracy, as is the rise of a more sophisticated form of authoritarianism that forgoes brute force and heavy-handed propaganda in favor of media manipulation, ubiquitous surveillance, criminalization of dissent, and controlled elections…. [Gee, sounds like he is talking about the USA!]

    In many developing societies, growing pessimism about the prospects for economic advancement is fueling instability…. [Well what the heck do you expect when you deny the most important ingredient for economic advancement – CHEAP RELIABLE ENERGY!]

    Mankind’s relationship with the natural world is aggravating these problems and is a potential source of crisis itself. Last year was the warmest on record, and this year is on track to be even warmer.

    Extreme weather, along with public policies affecting food and water supplies, can worsen or create humanitarian crises. Of most immediate concern, sharply reduced crop yields in multiple places simultaneously could trigger a shock in food prices with devastating effect, especially in already fragile regions such as Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Compromised access to food and water greatly increases the prospect for famine and deadly epidemics.… [Words fail…]

    However this statement really takes the prize.
    The world has changed dramatically since I first raised my hand and swore an oath of allegiance to the United States Government… WTF!!!

    And it gets WORSE

    Let me conclude by saying what I always say to each new class of Agency officers to whom I administer the oath of office every month in our Headquarters lobby. I have the absolutely best job in the world, because I work each day with some of the most dedicated, talented, courageous, and patriotic individuals this country has to offer. And, in light of the nature and scope of the national security challenges I just highlighted, the need for the contributions of these individuals has never been greater.

    This SOB administers an oath to the CONSTITUTION every month and NOT the US Government and he spouts the above drivel?

    Here is the actual oath of Office this Bozo administers every month.

    The CIA oath reads:
    “I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

    Schooled CIA employees know that the Constitution also defines the role of federal employees:

    “To establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty.”

But even they admit that yes, Obama did in fact vote against a bill requiring that children born alive would be treated as humans, even if the mother wanted them dead. Even Barbara Boxer voted against post birth abortions, when the federal equivalent came up.
