The rivers here are at flood stage, with near record snowpack in the mountains, warm weather, and ten days of rain in the forecast after tomorrow.

We are currently below last year’s record streamflow on the Poudre, but I don’t think that will last long.

Denver Water’s Water Watch Report is an entertaining read. The West Slope snowpack is three or four times greater than normal this time of year while the Front Range looks to be eight times normal. All that water won’t fit in the reservoirs, which are over 90% full as it is.
