Sea Level Fraud – Worse Than It Seems

Currently active NOAA tide gauges average 0.63 mm/year sea level rise, or two inches by the year 2100.

The fraudsters at the University of Colorado claim five times that much. Eighty-seven percent of tide gauges are below CU’s claimed rate.

And the criminals at NASA are claiming 20 times that much rise by the year 2100. Fraud is the new normal for academic and government science.

Sea level is not changing by a perceptible amount. This criminal activity needs to be stopped by Congress.

Why not go to Tokyo and have a look at the closest gauge:
    http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/sltrends_global_station.htm?stnid=642-061
The period from 1930 to 2014 sea level has increased 0,30 m or a foot!
    Do You notice any acceleration?

  2. rah says:

Yes, everyone knows that the islands of Japan located on the ring of fire and plagued by massive earthquakes and tsunamis over it’s entire known human history is the ideal landmass from which to get reliable tide gauge data. Did you know that there have been over 25 earthquakes or after shocks measured at 7.0 or higher in Japans home islands since 1930? The one in 2011 was a 9.0!

  3. cfgjd says:

Denialists need to invoke a global conspiracy as the French are also measuring sea-level with their altimeters:

    http://www.aviso.altimetry.fr/fileadmin/images/data/Products/indic/msl/MSL_Serie_MERGED_Global_IB_RWT_GIA_Adjust.png

BTW since 2011 (a cherry-picked start date) the trend has been 5mm/year.

    • Those graphs are utter bullshit junk science, no matter which country they come from.

    • gator69 says:

Gee! Alarmists with French accents using the same satellites as alarmists with American accents get the same alarmist results? Who would have guessed? 😆

      • cfgjd says:

Reality is alarmist? It’s just too bad that several groups independently get corresponsing results. 😀

        • gator69 says:

Reality is the tide gauges. As a Remote Sensing student, you are taught that in situ measurements trump remotely measured data.

All independent Christian churches say Jesus is Lord, because they all use the same Bible and share a belief system. The French and American sea level alarmists use the same data, and share the same belief system.

Comment only when you have a clue as to what you are speaking of parrot.

          Its called email, idiot !!

        • sunsettommy says:

Reality of the first chart was too damaging for you.

    • sunsettommy says:

I see that you completely ignored Steve’s first chart, which is from the NOAA,why did you do that?

  4. Jason Calley says:

Everyone knows that spinning ice skaters can change their rate of spin by extending or drawing in their arms. If there were any substantive rise in sea level we should see a steady increase in the length of day. In fact we do see a slight increase, but not enough to account for the supposed sea rise. We see about what lunar tidal effects would do, but mostly a slow up and down.

See my comment on Tony’s other web page.

  6. DD More says:

But using NASA’s calculations what would be the effect of even all of Greenland and Antarctica melting?
“(4) Calculate the sea-level-rise answers by dividing the water volumes determined in #3 by the global surface-water area determined in #1, thereby spreading the effect of the ice sheet’s water throughout the expanse of the Earth’s surface-water area. The answers are:
    (a) (2,343,728 cubic kilometers)/(361,132,000 square kilometers) = 0.0065 kilometers = 6.5 meters for the Greenland ice sheet;
    (b) (26,384,368 cubic kilometers)/(361,132,000 square kilometers) = 0.0731 kilometers = 73.1 meters for the Antarctic ice sheet;
    (c) 6.5 meters + 73.1 meters = 79.6 meters for Greenland and Antarctica together.”

    http://pumas.jpl.nasa.gov/files/02_10_97_1.pdf

So by NASA reasoning we will get meters of sea level rise, but still have the same sized ocean (361,132 Km^2). No additional sea area and no place gets drowned by the new rise, so why worry.

    • This is using NASA’s “Assume Spherical Cow” climate science methodology.
      ———-
      From the document:

      Qualifiers:
      (a) There are approximations and uncertainties …
      (b) Strictly speaking, the calculations assume that the oceans and seas have vertical sides, with the area covered by water remaining constant throughout the process of sea level rise.

    • On a second thought, they may be onto something. Look at Goddard’s pictures above. The water seems to “pile up” at the beach edge. There may be stacks of water all around that are not reaching the tide gauges. I believe that further research is necessary.

  7. Richard says:

I’ve always thought that the global warming and the sea level rise is just a plot to get the carbon tax money. I think, if it was true, countries like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar and others would not invest billion of dollars to build their cities directly on beaches. I think, that they know something we don’t. Or maybe I am wrong.

  8. The Sea Level trends link did not work for me.

  9. mikael says:

Norway have an internatinaly recognised Sea reaseach institute and weirly anouf, nobody is willing to talk about the scams on Global warmings so called science.
They can show the same charts, nothing have happened, the sea level outside Norway is infact going DOWN.
But acording to the CarboNazis that because the global warming is boiling our seas so the water evaporates so hard its driving the sea level downward.
Right (that was a joke, hehe, just to show you their ehh……. logic)

But to hammer us for beliving the world was created 6000 years ago since its in the bible, this guilt by ascosiation is their tool, and a lott of people belive that if you dont “belive” in AGW nor the Dawinian driwell you have to be anti-science or an fundamentalistic religious wacko.
I havent had this mutch funn reading since Donal Duck was my favorite when I was a child.
    hehehe

Yup, this is what I have been trying to tell people, their Sea rise is pure bogus, and they acuse me for beliving in something obscure or whatever THEY putt into anyone whom dont “belive” in what They think.

The level of bollocs in science is staggering.
Since I started to read science witch I havent for some years, the ignorance and plain stupidity is what they pimp, based upon political consensusses.
But I dont mind that, Il going to have my self a ball, when Il ripp their moronic drwiell camuflaged as Science into shreeds.
The internett is packed with bogus science, just read about Dawkins and Hawkins, both scam artists and have absolutly nothing sensible to relay at all, only bogus shait, and I cant imagine how the f….. this scam artists and their mindboggeling stupidity, are even considered valid.
    And even wurse, science.
    How medival.

    peace

A relative of mine bought a beach house near Cape Ann in Massachusetts circa 1976. I visited them about twice a year over a period of 37 years and regularly took a walk along the shore at high tide. This beach was naturally located and sloped such that it was sheltered from storm damage. In that period I saw NO noticeable increase in the sea level.
