CRU Temperature Record Is Complete Garbage

CRU shows almost 1.5C land warming in the Northern Hemisphere, with nearly 1C warming since the 1930’s.

However a composite of 1976 NOAA/National Academy Of Sciences temperatures (taken from National Geographic in 1976) with current UAH V6 temperatures shows that the Northern Hemisphere is not much warmer now than it was in the 1930’s.

The next image overlays the CRU graph on the previous graph, and shows how the past has been cooled and the present warmed, to make the fake hockey stick of warming.

So how do I know that the CRU data is garbage? Because glaciers don’t lie. The 1976 National Geographic article described “abnormal warmth that prevailed in the first half of the century” and showed how glaciers disappeared during that time. CRU has made this warmth disappear.

The warming and melting ice of the was well established in many references from the leading experts of the time.

Phil Jones at CRU planned with other scientists to make the 1940’s warmth disappear. And that they did.

It would be good to remove at least part of the 1940s blip, but we are still left with “why the blip”.

Mike,
Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4? Keith will do likewise… Can you also email Gene [Wahl] and get him to do the same? I don’t have his new email address. We will be getting Caspar [Ammann] to do likewise.
Cheers, Phil

This graph clearly shows the advancing glaciers of the 1970’s ice age scare, the graph is for Italy and Switzerland. I lived in Germany at the time and recall the concerns expressed by scientists and alpine villagers alike, as they watched these rivers of ice march down the valleys.

Many of the early claims of massive alpine glacier loss were due to the fact that lazy grantologists were only surveying glaciers that were easily accessible, meaning the glaciers were all relatively low altitude glaciers (see Himalayas), and the expanding higher altitude glaciers were not surveyed…

We recall that in its 2007 report the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change claimed:

“Glaciers in the Himalayas are receding faster than in any other part of the world and, if the present rate continues, the likelihood of their disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high if the earth keeps warming at the current rate.”

As it turns out, the earth hasn’t been warming at all, at least not in the last decade or so, and reputable scientists have said it may continue to cool for decades to come. Even if it was warming, serious glaciologists insist the sheer mass of Himalayan glaciers made such a prediction laughable.

As noted by Bristol University glaciologist Jonathan Bamber, not part of the Boulder study: “The very unexpected result was the negligible mass loss from high mountain Asia, which is not significantly different from zero.” In some quarters the “unexpected” result is an inconvenient truth.

The new study, the first to survey all the world’s icecaps and glaciers made possible by the use of satellite data, acknowledges some glacial melting at lower altitudes. But it also says that over the study period enough ice was added to the peaks to compensate — meaning no net loss of ice.

Isn’t there a single skeptic scientist who is competent enough to study and publish this? Has every one turned into an office-slob?

The only slob around here is you.

SG is publishing the real data.

Its there for all to see, far more visible that any journal.

Bet you rarely read a journal……. but you ALWAYS read SG. 😉

…and glaciers are retreating now globally….must be due to the UHI-fraud, right? 😀 😀
