Global Wierding In January 1937

January 1937 was the coldest on record west of the Mississippi River, and the warmest on record east of the Mississippi. If this happened now, Bernie Sanders would call for immediate global communism to alter the jet stream.

To make matters even more disconcerting to climate experts, this climate change horror came less than a year after one of the coldest Februaries on record in 1936.

And July 1936 was the hottest month on record in the US, with the possible exception of July 1901.

I do not have a blog, so I am posting this on my FB page.

Now that you’ve banned Martin Smith you can make stuff up at will.

Ok that’s sarcasm but that’s probably what our friends on the left would say. Aren’t they claiming the satellite temperatures are lies now?

  3. Istvan Marko says:

Obviously, the alarmists will object that this is meteorology and not climate, even though they will use whatever “anomalously” high temperature month or year they can in favor of their thesis. The big problem is not so much showing that what they are claiming is erroneous – you do it in an amazing way-, but breaking the whole system which has gathered such a powerful momentum because of huge vested financial interests, political power, ideological interests and, alas, mass brain washing for years that has transformed a pseudo-science into a true religion: climatism.

  4. NotMartinSmith says:

Time for your daily dose. Ahem …

“Steve, people didn’t know how to read thermometers back in 1937, communism is wonderful, cold is warm, warm is cold, Chinese coal plants are good for the environment while American ones are bad, you were using the wrong American/Chinese climate agreement in your other article, and the jet stream is permanently disrupted because of your sins against collectivism and 97% of our scientists.”

    What did I miss?

  5. That’s the atheist materialist version. The True Faith is Climistianity, Gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz!

  6. Andy DC says:

We could go cold turkey off evil fossil fuels tomorrow and leave them in the ground forever, but even if we did, there is no evidence whatsoever that people 100 years from now would experience better weather.

  7. willys36 says:

Society would immediately plunge into dark ages and by the time they climb out of it in 100 years, all those fossil fuels would be there to be ‘discovered’ and a new wonderful age would be created. Until the Marxists reassert their philosophy of death and restart the cycle.
