July 30 Was Much Hotter Prior To 1960

The percentage of the US over 95F and over 100F on July 30 plummeted after 1960.

On July 30, 1913 twenty one states were over 100F. AR AZ CA IA IL IN KS KY MD MI MO ND NE NJ OH OK SD TN TX WI WV. July 1913 also set the record for the world’s hottest temperature of 134F at Greenland Ranch, CA on July 10.

On July 30, 1917 twenty one states were over 100F. AZ CA CO GA IA ID IL KS MN MO MS NC ND NE OK SC SD TX UT VA WI

This is the point where climate alarmists will jump in and say “the US is only 5% of the Earth.” That is true, but we have very little temperature data for the rest of the world, making this sort of analysis impossible outside of the US, Japan and parts of Australia.

The United States is the only large area on Earth with reliable long term temperature data. The global temperature record is a complete farce, just like the people at NASA, NOAA and Berkeley Earth who work on it.
