    Only the Chinese elms in my yard have any leaves left on them. They’re always the last to fall. The willows, maple. and cottonwood are all bare. The Cottonwood and willows shed first. In back field there are still plenty of leaves on some of the apple trees.

    But normally they can only grow like this if they stand alone in a man made environment.
