   Some scientists say that 2019 has the potential to be the hottest year on record due to El Nino.

   Thoughts?

     Reliable record is only 40 years long (UAH)

     Was warmer in the MWP, warmer still in the RWP and quite a bit warmer through the 7000 or so years of the Holocene optimum.

     At least they say it is because of the El Nino.. which has zero human cause.

     There is NO EVIDENCE that the slight and highly beneficial warming out of the coldest period in 100 years (the mid/late 1970s) has any human cause whatsoever.

     There is ZERO empirical evidence of warming by atmospheric CO2.

       And what do they mean by “global warming”?

       Do they mean the globe MAY warms a bit, naturally, due to the El Nino…..

       …. or are they going the anti-science “global warming™” route?

       Warming from El Ninos is nothing to do with human forcing.

       It is noted that yet again you are unable to counter my statement that there is zero empirical evidence of warming by atmospheric CO2.

       If I want to know that the relatively low skill level US weather models have to say I go to Accuweather. If I want to know that a skilled, hands on, Meteorologist and forecaster has to say I go to Joe Bastardi.

       This year the US models continued to show November to be colder than average right through the first half of the month as the month came in as the 5th or 6th coldest on record.

     NASA can do anything they want to manipulate data, but plummeting sea surface temperatures mean that the actual earth is cooling.

     As usual warmists like YOU overlook the much more important TREND rate of warming, the one the IPCC predicted/projected starting in 1990 where they said a .30C average decadal rate is expected.

     Talking about whether this year or next year is warmest on record is deceptive and ultimately dishonest because you are ignorant of the climate picture.

     When are you going to realize that it was MUCH hotter than now just 7,000 and more years ago? Ever heard of the HOLOCENE OPTIMISM?
