Overheated Atmosphere Update

-11F here in Boulder , -44F in Montana.  CO2 seems to be having difficulty trapping heat.  Good thing we have fossil fuels to keep warm.

Going to be around 78F today here in Nashville .. woohoo!! .. I love “Global Warming” !!!

Sadly, going to be a whole lot colder tomorrow :-(

  2. billtoo says:

wow. havre montana has a 10 day forecast no-one would envy. averaging 20-25 degrees below seasonal averages. it will be adjusted away.

  3. Bob Hoye says:

    Looked up Havre.
It is only 2500 feet elevation.
    44 below is cold!
    Clearly not enough co2.

I’m doing a 4 stop run for Honda. Started at 05:30 this morning. Am now backed into a door at the third stop in Athens, TN south west of Knoxville. High temp today was 79 F. I’ve got the A/C on still.

  5. Mr Sir says:

Not that you’re going to believe me, but this colder weather is due to a crazy jet stream that is happening as a direct result of the arctic region getting warmer.

    • Rah says:

Really? Then how did Joe Bastardi forecast it months ago and not a single “climate scientist” did? It’s weather and this winter we in the lower 48 are in for more serious cold. It’s going to sleet and possibly snow is not N Texas and Louisiana tomorrow.

    • Disillusioned says:

Ayup. I don’t believe you. Know why?

Four decades ago, scientists told us the same crazy jet stream pattern was the result of global cooling.

    • Gator says:

Show your work, Little Man. Unsupported statements are for sheep.

    • AndyDC says:

What accounted for the crazy jetstream in 1899, when Tallahassee was -2 F with blizzards raging over parts of north Florida? When it was -10 F in Atlanta, and -15 F in DC with three feet of snow? All with CO2 at “safe” levels?

What accounted for the 120 degree heat from the Dakotas to Texas in 1936, with CO2 at “safe” levels?

  6. gregole says:

CO2 heat trapping seems to be faltering badly. And here is it 2019 and CO2 well above the safe level. Where’s the heating?

    • Rah says:

It’s the AOC effect. Far more powerful than the Gore effect. I’m still laughing about her Green Deal. The socialist Democrats skipped shooting themselves in the foot and went right for the head. Too funny

  7. Svend Ferdinandsen says:

It is a bit funny, that the weather forecast often mention a clear sky and calm wind to make it cold in the night. No mention of how the CO2 in the air is supposed to keep it warm.
Apparently CO2 only works when it is warm weather.

    • rah says:

      Svend

It doesn’t work then either! In the true deserts it gets cold at night even if the temp during the day topped 48 C. Why? Not because of the absence of CO2, but because of the absence of water vapor.
