1974 – Global Cooling To Wipe Entire Nations Off The Map

In 1974, Australia’s Communist newspaper and the UN reported that entire nations were about to be wiped off the map by drought.

“If sufficient action isn’t taken in the next few months, countries could disappear from the face of the earth”, United Nations Secretary General, Kurt Waldheim said last month, referring to the horrific drought now ravaging West Africa.

Climatologists were so worried about global cooling in 1974, they wanted to melt the Arctic ice cap to stop it.

No worries though.  Fifteen years later the UN determined that global warming was about to wipe entire nations off the map.

A senior environmental official at the United Nations, Noel Brown, says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if global warming is not reversed by the year 2000.
