In Sedona, Arizona, for a White Thanksgiving. Damn global warming… um, global cooling… oh, whatever.

  2. Gamecock says:

It’s hard to putt in the snow. The ball builds up a cart wheel and falls over.

  3. Andy says:

Stop wobbling on about USA cold weather and get back to the Arctic and Antarctic you big chicken !

    :p

The USA does have cold weather from time to time, mainly during the norther hemisphere winter months … go figure.

Long term Arctic trends are far more worthy of comment. I can do a guest post on the subject if you wish. No charge of course.

    Andy

Yes, the Arctic is STILL in the top 5-10% of the last 10,000 years, after extreme high levels through the LIA and in the late 1970’s

Hasn’t decreased in the last 10-12 years

Antarctic sea ice has been stable, with temperatures dropping for the last few thousand years

Only the part above the large volcanic region of the Western Peninsular has lost any ice.

You really are the dumbest, most ignorant of trolls, little-andy.

“Yes, the Arctic is STILL in the top 5-10% of the last 10,000 years,”

How did you pick 5 to 10 percent rather than 7 to 12% ?

Can you give me your background data for that pick?

        Andy

        • spike55 says:

“How did you pick 5 to 10 percent rather than 7 to 12% “

So you AGREE its is STILL right at the top of Holocene extents.. great aim… shooting yourself in the foot, .. doh !!

You really are showing yourself to be the DUMBEST trolls ever. !!

        • spike55 says:

If you had the slightest competence , you would be able to look at the MANY sources for Holocene Arctic sea ice or temperatures, and you would see that the extent was higher than now for only about 400-500 years.

Same with any real temperature series, colder than now for only about 500 or so years of the last 10,000

Basic maths gives Arctic sea ice in the top 5% of the extent.

But we know basic maths and comprehension of graphs is WAY beyond your limited abilities, little-andy.

Just another arrogant twit who thinks they have the right to tell the owner of the site what he should be blogging about! A characteristic we have seen here repeatedly from arrogant leftist fools that wish to deny or divert from the subject of certain posts. They can’t just move on to another site when the subject is something they don’t like or don’t find interesting. Noooooooooo they think they have the right to command the blogger to cover the subjects THEY want covered. Sooooooo typical. Sooooo democrat like. Soooo leftist media like.

      • Andy says:

The problem with your theory is that you think I am a democrat in the USA when actually I am not.

Sometimes the simplest answer is best … I just loved it when Tony talked about the poles because that is what floats my boat.

If you hadn’t worked that out by now then that is disappointing.

        Andy.

PS you yanks will interject politics into anything, that is probably where you are going wrong.

        • rah says:

I think your a liar! Clear enough?

        • rah says:

PS: Does not matter what you say your politics are, your words make it abundantly clear what you are.

        • spike55 says:

“talked about the poles because that is what floats my boat.”

Yep, you love making a fool of yourself, showing that Arctic sea ice is currently SO HIGH in extent

Only fractionally down from anomalous high extent of the LIA and late 1970s, and FAR more of Arctic sea ice now than for most of the last 10,000 years

You even agreed so yourself. !!

So good of you to continue to bring that FACT to everyone’s attention :-)

        • HayMaker says:

It’s funny how the warmists are “point in time” climate alarmists. They are also “one factor” climate alarmists. Most are very emotionally driven which clouds there judgement. I’m always amazed how “Andy’s tribe” deludes themselves in order to be right. Listen to you skin Andy and understand that the earth is a bit more complicated than your simple man/women blaming beliefs. What have you done for the earth lately. Remember, the most effective CO2 mop are the worlds trees. 100% consensus on tree planting. Crickets from your tribe. Silly boy.

        • Haymaker says:

Andy. Tell your warmist tribe to use the “Give a hoot, don’t pollute” campaign. You’ll have much more credibility and the campaign will be way more effective than promoting fairy dust science. Give the younger generation the tools to help stop pollution instead using childish, spooky world ending stories. Your tribe could really use more than a mentally challenged child to tell your story. She scares children like the clown in the movie “It”.

        • Archie says:

          Queen’s Tits Andy!

    • spike55 says:

“I can do a guest post on the subject if you wish.”

But you would only have your abject ignorance and DENIAL of the fact that Arctic sea ice extent is higher than it has been for most of the last 10,000 years.

You are basically the most ignorant of climate change deniers, little-andy.

You have absolutely NOTHING to offer in the way of rational science-based discussion.

Just came back from a two-day trip to southern Arizona checking out areas almost to the Mexican border. Rain was forecast Thursday and Friday and we got rain on Friday. As we were heading back to Phoenix, the clouds cleared up and there was plenty of snow visible on the local mountains (Mount Wrightson). So cool with snow down south as well.

    • rah says:

One or both of these two fronts have or will effect most everyone in the country in one way or another. Just glad I have been home since Tuesday.

Tonight it’s going down to 10°F.

  6. Gamecock says:

The Arctic’s being covered with ice makes it useless to Man.

LESS Arctic sea ice is BETTER than more Arctic sea ice.

  7. Brian D says:

Blizzard conditions are rapidly developing here in the Duluth, MN area around the head of Lake Superior. Going to be a rough evening and night. 1 – 2 ft of snow forecasted with nasty lake winds up to 45mph.

So Sad. If this keeps up, no one will know what golfing is anymore.

  9. Jonathan Ranes says:

Science aside the decision to tie communism, wokeism, and the democratic party to future weather predictions was a bad strategic decision. What did they think was going to happen when they are building a thousands of wind mills in five or ten years of very cold winters? In hind site this could be good for civilization in the long run.
