Tony Heller – Your posts and videos are greatly appreciated. Posting historical items and using raw data from temperature and ice records is very effective against the current fashions of climate nonsense, as I see it. I was also greatly disappointed in Scott Adams recently as he now seems too willing to take the “expert” view as more credible. But the planet is the only authentic model of its own climate performance, and you are doing important work here. Please keep doing so undeterred.

Tough as nails! Great video, Tony! Keep it up!

    Hello again Tony,

Arctic sea ice is obviously trending at the moment!

Perhaps I might refer you to our somewhat stilted Twitter conversation:

    https://twitter.com/Tony__Heller/status/1222854011679735808

and enquire whether Toto has managed to click this link yet?

    • spike55 says:

      Yep its trending all right.

for 30th January, NSIDC has the Arctic sea ice extent above all of the last 15 years except 2008 and 2009.

Might I remind you that Arctic sea ice is STILL in about the TOP 5% of the last 10,000 years. Very much ANOMALOUSLY HIGH

Might I aloso remind you of your status as the lowest piece of troll slime ever the grace this blog.

        Good morning Spike (UTC),

Since Tony and Toto still haven’t come up with any scientific evidence for the assertions in the video above, peer reviewed or otherwise, perhaps you could answer a few questions for me?

        1) What was the sea level in Manhattan 8,000 years ago?

        2) What’s the significance of Arctic sea ice extent when the sun is below the horizon?

        3) What’s the correlation between NSIDC Arctic sea ice extent at the Winter maximum and the following Summer minimum?

        4) What’s the current Arctic sea ice volume, and how is it distributed regionally? See below for some relevant data.

        • spike55 says:

Yep , there’s ONE HECK OF A LOT OF SEA ICE up there, isn’t there !

Far more than for most of the last 10,000 years

Why won’t you admit the facts, Jimbo.

Seems that you are nothing but a lying, deceitful, Climate Change DENIER!

          • Jim Hunt says:

Nothing like as much as there used to be just a few years ago Spike!

          • Gator says:

Just how stupid and evil are you Genocide Jim?

Spike points to 10,000 years worth of precedent, and you argue that “a few years” is sufficient to overturn 100 centuries.

Why do you hate poor brown people so very much Jim? What did they ever do to you? Or are you too stupid to answer these simple questions?

          • spike55 says:

            Poor Jimbo the clown

…chooses a point that up there with the EXTREME HIGHS of the LIA

Thanks for showing us all that EXTREME HIGH, you poor witless cretin.

Why do you choose to be a Climate change DENIER, Jimbo ?

        • Eddie says:

Jim, here is the answer to your first question in the link below. That took 3 minutes to look up! If you need help with your homework, I can help too. Perhaps you are not aware we are in an interglacial period of an ice age that happens every 100,000 years(at least for the last million years) and usually lasts 10-12K years. That is when continental glaciers recede like now. Do not worry though about the Arctic ice. It is a -40 right now in Prudhoe Bay where I used to work and ice will not quite melt at that temp. Every freshman geology student learns about interglacials

          • Jim Hunt says:

            Thanks Eddie,

I’m well aware of all that. I am however somewhat surprised that Tony has yet to answer any of my questions!

In his continuing absence, would you care to take a stab at one or more of the other three?

          • Gator says:

Why would Tony waste his valuable time on a poor brown people hating idiot like you Jim? You are a waste of time and CO2.

          • spike55 says:

            Poor Jimbo,

Your questions are meaningless slime-ridden pointers based on your own DENIAL of climate change.

  5. Carlton Schroeder says:

Hi Tony, Thanks for your good work. I’m a new follower since someone sent me your you tube ‘My Gift to Climate Alarmists’. I looked through your articles and did not find anything presenting ‘ancient sea level’ discussion. By ancient, I mean back about 0ne million years through about 10 glacial cycles. Data is out there that indicates sea levels have been at least 20 feet above current levels many times in previous interglacial periods. I think most people can connect warmer periods with higher sea levels and would hopefully understand we are not seeing anything new with regard to sea level rise. So we should spend our $ wisely when we deal with it.

    Thanks again and again Tony.

  7. I. Nebreda says:

    Hello Tony,
after seeing your videos, i started to collect temperature information from newspapers in Spain, wich was not that simple as i thougth. But i found this pdf from 2006 about adjusted temperatures of datasets that alerted me (see p. 21).
They definitely put max temps. down from 1850 to 1960.

  8. Robertv says:

Life on Earth must have been Hell before the planet entered 3.5 million years ago the ongoing Ice Age.And with higher CO2 levels life in the oceans must have been non existent.

Tony, you are the messiah of the real climate religion!!!! You are, “rolling back the stone” Please continue your great work exposing the “Climate Clowns”!!!
Two weeks ago in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, is was -41 C, coldest place on the planet b all accounts. At no point did I feel there was a Climate CRISIS looming, it was just COLD like it has been many times before in Alberta. I will be donating on your site to your great work and I urge EVERYONE to do the same!

  11. David Siegel says:

Tony, I checked with MASIE, they said the graph showing no change is not their graph, it wasn’t produced by NSIDC or NIC. I’m trying to track down historical sea ice 1850-1979 and I the best I can find seems to be this one:

    https://www.carbonbrief.org/guest-post-piecing-together-arctic-sea-ice-history-1850

I’m not a fan of carbonbrief, obviously, but it appears to me they did a reasonable job putting that together. It’s not easy. I’ve seen your other videos showing a dataset back to around 1910, which I think is from Vinnikov. I’m not convinced Vinnikov is right and the work by Fetterer is categorically wrong. I’m looking to understand the data quality.

Can you help me understand this better?

    David Siegel
