Nice. Another 0.71 inch last night here near Portales, NM. Brings total to just shy of 4 in. over last 10 days. A site near Clovis has had over 6 in. in same time frame. Guess I’ll grab my camera and take a drive to document the severe drought.

Northern AZ got some rain lately it was welcome.

  6. Mark says:

Rainfall in Tulsa was about 9% above average. It’s still early in the year, but so far our 2021 rainfall is about 31% above average. Maybe we’re getting California’s rain.

Detroit area has had two flooding rainfalls already this year. Basements are flooded across the city. The flooding is due to excessive rainfall caused by climate change, not the fact you cannot release the water into the Detroit River as was done in the past.

There was a scare piece on KDVR31 last night about the never-ending drought. I about threw my shoe at the TV.
