Record Hot October 1963

US October afternoon temperatures steadily increased during the 20th century until 1963, and then they plummeted and never recovered.

October 1963 brought unprecedented heat from coast to coast.

There was a worldwide drought and the Susquehanna and Delaware Rivers nearly dried up.
