Fort Collins Police Cleared Themselves Of Any Wrong Doing

I remember this incident well from 2011. The Fort Collins police were one of the main reasons I left the city – having several disturbing interactions with them myself.

Fort Collins police shot and killed a man Dec. 8 after he pointed a flashlight at officers trying to arrest him for multiple felony warrants, according to an official report of the incident that says the officers’ actions were justified.

NO Matter how bad it is PUT yourself in place of the COPS- a BAD Dude is pointing a flashlight at you- WHAT is standard operating procedure for a person with flashlight and a GUN??? they use the flash light to pick a target

The flashlight aimed at the face also blinds the person from seeing what the person holding the flashlight is doing. For a police officer being blinded by a flashlight the results could be catastrophic. Is the person friendly or not? It’s a 50-50 choice and if you guess wrong you’re dead. Who is willing to be a police officer if you have to be stupid.
