1937 saw the most powerful hurricane to ever hit the US, and the 1940s saw the most US hurricane strikes of any decade.
What caused these severe climatic patterns during the first half of the century?

Just to set the record straight, the most powerful storm to hit the US was in 1935, not 1937. That was the Labor Day Hurricane that struck the Florida Keys.

North America’s temperature record was set on July 10, 1913 at 134 degrees. Strike one for you. How on earth did you get that one wrong?
My first sentence started with the word “Global” which you chopped off to create a (very lame) straw man argument about North America. Strike two.
You don’t understand why the cause of the severe weather from 1900-1950 is an important question? Strike three -. back to the bush leagues for you.
