That is more than twice as much as it received in January 2011
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

The BOM report regarding the 1974 flood and Wanda:
http://reg.bom.gov.au/lam/climate/levelthree/c20thc/flood7.htm
“In Brisbane, intensifying rain throughout Friday dumped over 300mm within 24 hours. In three days (ended 9am 27th) the Queensland capital received 580mm, with even heavier falls over river catchments near the city (1,300mm in five days at Mt Glorious)”
That’s 51 inches of rain at Mt Glorious in 5 days.
If something like that happened today, or even in the next 50 years (so I’m told), it will be proof of “global warming”, not a natural occurrence.
To each their own.
Thank you for posting this and other stories like it. Someone would do well to gather scores of such items and publish them in a book.
Google dooms the alarmists.
Al Gore is on the board of Google. Doh!
Yes it would be classic to have dueling news stories like the Kerry debating himself video… now that was epic.
