I wonder if Aspen and other Colorado ski resorts can ask for their money back from the crooked experts who were forecasting declining snow accumulations in the Colorado Rockies becasue of global warming. Of course, that was before we learned that there would be more snow as a result of global warming.

It’s been a hell of a month for precipitation in the Roaring Fork Valley. I’m about 5 miles outside of Carbondale, CO. Last year through 7am on 4/25 I recorded 1.10 inches of H2O since April 1. This year for the same time period I record 3.16 inches. This is very impressive for an area that averages 12 inches annually. Combining March and April, 2010=1.62 inches, 2011=4.25 inches.
