Dang … that Satanic CO2 molecule just never stops with it’s cunning stunts!!

  2. Gail Combs says:

Snowfall is getting reported all around the Northern Hemisphere. Sort of hard to say the temperatures are the WARMEST EVAH! but I am sure the Warmists news outlets will manage after all there is an election coming up.

Canada of course is also getting the snow with up to a foot expected further north in Canada.
Much of Florida is expected to be 20 deg. below normal by Sunday morning according to Dr Roy Spencer.

Snow to rub in Warmist faces.

There was frost due to cold weather in Ardahan. Some icing on the windows of vehicles has occurred….

Meteorological officials, in part, that the air temperature remained below normal seasonal and cold weather during the week was reported to be effective.

But but, it’s just weather! 😉

    • Gail Combs says:

I forgot to add Russia to the mix. That takes us completely around the world with cold snowy weather.

      2 Oct 2014
According to the specialist regional center for geographic information systems Andrew Shikhova, snowfall in early October, “is not the norm for the region.”

Another record was broken in Vladivostok. It registered an absolute minimum air temperature in all more than 130-year history of weather observations. Tuesday morning in the seaside capital was only plus one degree Celsius. The last time the temperature fell to a record low values ??of 30 September 1968 and was equal to plus 4.3 degrees, according to Tass.

Last week saw the first snow of the residents of the Krasnodar Territory. Winter precipitation fell in Krasnaya Polyana, cover height is 7 cm. Add that the real winter in the mountains of Sochi usually comes in December.

    • stewart pid says:

24 C as I type in my little bit of Canada but my football team was playing in Regina Saskatchewan at -3 C last night and it looked plenty frosty for early October.

      • mjc says:

        Right now, it’s 37 °F here…average is 43 °F. On track to freeze overnight…previous record is 36 °F.

But even more telling…today’s daytime high was 55 °F according to the ‘official’ thermometer, but my thermometer said it didn’t pass 50 °F (which is in line with most other measurements/UHI). Previous low max was 53 °F (avg high is 68 °F).

Yes, it’s just weather…but when you are talking about a geographic area that goes from the middle of WV to Regina (minimally), then there is something going on that isn’t ‘warming’ or isolated…

  3. Frank K. says:

Yeah, I just saw that on the national radar this morning. Extends up into Wisconsin. Don’t worry – the climate industry is busy finding a way to link ALL weather to global warming…

    http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/climate-change/scientists-to-fasttrack-evidence-linking-global-warming-to-wild-weather-9773767.html

    Here’s the money line…

“They are developing a new scientific model that will shrink to as little as three days the time it takes to establish or rule out a link to climate change, in large part by using highly accurate estimates of sea surface temperatures rather than waiting for the actual readings to be published…”

There you have it. They will be using ***highly accurate estimates***! [LOL]

    • Gail Combs says:

So the last step to completely divorce Climate Science™ from reality is now being developed. The Oracles of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi comes to mind.

The oracles in a frenzied state induced by vapors rising from a chasm in the rock, spoke gibberish which priests then interpreted as enigmatic prophecies. WIKI even goes on to say, “…there is evidence that Apollo took over the shrine from an earlier dedication to Gaia…”

So we are now back to Gaia worship but instead of volcanic fumes inducing a frenzied state of the oracles, we have pharmaceuticals inducing the frenzied state of the priests who read the computer gibberish interpreted as prophecies projections.

      • B says:

Thousands of years go by and the human race does not change.
Everything about the climate cult is just ancient religion, ancient control mechanisms, all in a new wrapper.

      • nielszoo says:

I think I’ve said this before here but in one of my Greek History or Greek Culture courses I remember reading a paper where they were pretty sure that the Pythia (the oracle at Delphi) was most likely suffering from anoxia as the concentrations of O2 were fairly low and CO2 concentrations (at least in modern times) were really high in the chamber where she sat on her tripod and prophesied.

Gibberish, impossible prophesies, foretelling the future, CO2 being the sole driver of climate… seems there’s a common thread on that list… fantasy.

  4. David says:

To think…all this cold and snow coming in and warmest want to take away our heating source. Yes…windmills and solar will generate enough power to heat the houses and buildings. Better find a cave and cut down the forests for wood to stay warm.

    • Gail Combs says:

Sorry you can not cut down trees without government permission and the EPA has essentially banned wood stoves….

Caves up north are darn cold and soggy, ranging from ~55F at the Indiana/Kentucky border and dropping to ~45F in Vermont. Hypothermia is the primary risk in Vermont marble caves since you are often crawling and getting almost completely wet.

      • Gail Combs says:

OH! I forgot most northern caves are clogged with mud and rock from the glaciers making them small as well as wet. It is why we traveled from upstate NY to West Virginia to go caving on weekends. The marble caves in Vermont are worth the trip but we always by-passed the caves in PA might as well travel a few more hours to decent caves.

  5. Mike says:

Reblogged this on This Got My Attention and commented:
There were flurries in the air this morning in Madison with a temp of 36. We’re expecting the first freeze of the season tonight, pretty much the same as most years, with the first trace of snow coming earlier than the average. http://m.channel3000.com/first-snow-could-come-overnight/28386908

  6. John F. Hultquist says:

The forecast map linked to on Roy S.’s site (from Weatherbell) shows North America with 3 N-S bands with the 100th meridian, more or less, marking one divide. The current jet stream is coming from over the Pacific Ocean north of the Washington State – B. C. border. It moves SE over E. Montana and W. North Dakota. Only a few high mountains of the west show a low anomaly – the rest is a few degrees warmer than normal. The MSM will likely not note this warmth because it is far to the west of the Hudson River.
Locally – that is, in Washington State – we are having an extended growing season with tomatoes still ripening in the garden. Volunteer trail crews (WTA dot org) are having remarkably fine days to get work done without getting wet and cold. We still get dirty, though.

This weather pattern, a blocking high, is less helpful for wind power, as shown here (green line):

  7. David says:

The warmest cannot blame co2 on this…the earliest records were in 1928 and 1942 when there wasnt that much co2. The beginning of this co2 frenzy started in 1980s..oh I quest they can

  8. Can you verify the URL? The screenshot shows PNSLOT information. The webpage as I am viewing it now has no PNSLOT option or information. Thank you.

    • NWS text is constantly updated. The nature of weather.

      • geran says:

        Unbelievable.

        • geran says:

And, I happened to take the screen shot, lmao….

        • geran says:

THE WEATHER OBSERVER AT CHICAGO OHARE CONFIRMED THAT SNOW WAS OCCURRING> THIS SNOW IS THE THIRD EARLIEST SNOWFALL TO BE OBSERVED AT CHICAGO DATING BACK TO 1884…..

        • geran says:

So why would they remove the original post?

It’s almost like they have an agenda….

        • I have to think they have snow observation data for Chicago dating to before 1884. It would be interesting to know what rank 2014 is for the period beginning in, say, 1860 or 1865.

Perhaps they have “adjusted” the years forward so that 1865 actually gets reported as 1884. 😉

      • Of course. I am not doubting the information presented by you here, especially as cold as it is here in Pennsylvania tonight. But the very layout of the page you have linked to is different from the screenshot.

The screenshot has this row of internal links at the top: “PNSLOT | LSRLOT | PNSILX | LSRILX | RERILX | “. The page to which you have linked has no “PNSLOT” internal link, and a text search of the page (and source) for “PNSLOT” returns no matches. (Also, there are items still on the page that are date/time stamped from as long ago as “THU OCT 02 2014”.)

I conclude that either (1) this is not the right link or (2) the page has been drastically altered since the screenshot — not just with changed or new text: an entire section is not there.

The screenshot is great, but a “Save Page As…” or a Select All / Copy / Paste of the source would be even more helpful. (I have all three now of the page in its current state.)

I don’t mean to be a bother. Thanks.

  9. rah says:

Flurries in Chicago, low of 38 deg down here near Anderson, IN where I live. It was biting cold because of the wind. Spent 3 1/2 hours Saturday fighting the first battle in the annual war with the leaves. Mowed them to chop them up. Wore a good flannel shirt under by wind breaker and gloves. Red maples across the street are beautiful this time of year but that neighbors leaves always end up in my yard because of the prevailing winds. Most of the big tough leaves on my cottonwood have already dropped and all of them are off my two willows.

  10. stpaulchuck says:

it snowed in Minnesota too, but then no one really gets surprised by snow in Minnesota I guess

  11. Scalziand says:

Bastardi doubts the accuracy of the previous snow records.
