Hansen’s Excess Heat Found!

Hansen says that we have lots of warming in the pipeline due to stored heat in the ocean.

Well I found the heat! Ocean temperatures only 1-4C below normal. More proof that hot water sinks and cold water rises!

Didn’t someone say the heat was down in the deep ocean?
Obviously that’s where it is…………bangs head on desk

“reduce forcing to stabilize the climate”

Which is saying these clowns think they can control the climate/weather.
Put in that perspective, is there anyone that believes we can control the climate?

Is this a left over from New Year toast or just your version of Pink Elephants! 😉 Every time I hear about the missing heat it brings back memories of the 60s and 70s and people like the Beatles or Timothy Leary. That brings this to mind:

Jim looking for his missing heat!

  3. Doubter says:

If radiation in the atmosphere creates CAGW in the deep oceans, what’s the link between the atmosphere and deep ocean, where we have the cold water in between?

(Sorry, I just have to read Real Climate twice a day and make my confessions to CAGW, so I stay social acceptable in this anxious world…)

    • Mike Davis says:

It is in the Bermuda Triangle where Paranormal events happen. This time of the year all the heat is sucked out of the atmosphere there and that is what is drawing all the cold through Europe and the Eastern US. It is also sucking cold air from Alaska across the Great planes.
It is possible there is also a metaphysical region at Ayers Rock in Australia where this is also taking place for the southern hemisphere! That location is connected by Telekinesis to the West Antarctic Peninsula and that is where that warming is coming from.

  4. Sean says:

Actually, you have to hand it to Dr. Hanson on this one. He made a falsifiable prediction and then there were 3000 Argo buoys deployed throughout the Oceans to measure temperature and salinity down to 700 meters. This network has been producing good data since 2003. They have enough well distributed data points to say unequivocally that the oceans have had no detectable increase in heat content over the last 7 years. The data is so good that that they have gone from talking natural variability over the first few years to withholding the most recent data and scrambling to find a correction that will add heat to the system.

      Sean:
They have also figured how to claim a problem with equipment that needs to be adjusted out and results in warming. It depends on whose reports you read.

    • Mike Davis says:

      Sean:
I just realized your mistake! You are under the misimpresion that Big Jim makes a “Falsifiable” Prediction! If it comes true within 15C+/- it is consistent with Jim’s claims and an accurate prediction. If it is beyond recognition then it was only a misquoted observation and the reporter was wrong!

I know where all you contrarian deniers live, I have access to NASA satellites.

CET for dec is out: 351:th warmest…..

  7. Bob Barker says:

Sure would be interesting to see some up to date & honest Argo results.

    • Mike Davis says:

It aint gonna happen as that does not fit the current agenda. When it first started coming out there was hope and some was released but the found a “Cooling Bias” in the equipment! A KNOWN problem with all the bouncing buoys that get the depth wrong or something like that. Similar to the problem that was found to affect all the historic weather balloons that have ever been launched.

Funny that you aren’t showing images which show the areas of warmth. Always tucked hidden away in a corner aren’t they steve?

  9. Binghi says:

Look at this image that covers the entire globe to get a true picture of the current SST.

Steve’s images in this article only covers the Northern Hemisphere. He did supply the link to the global image but it seems that the folks that comment here don’t bother clicking on the links. I wonder why….
