New York To Drown Soon

“On January 13, 2024, the day that the photographs above were taken, it measured water levels three feet higher than predicted.”

“the team predicts that in the next decade, water levels at the coastline of the Battery could rise nearly as much as they did in the previous 100 years, increasing seven to 11 inches by the 2030s.”

Flood Pressure

Since the date of that photograph, sea level has fallen about one foot at a rate of 21 meters per century.

Sea level there is lower now than it was in March of 1958.

Are these people idiots or are they counting on the fact the general public is not too smart? (and hence liars) There was a full moon yesterday, Feb 13 2025 and full moons create higher than normal tides, called spring tides…

And I do not have it in front of me, but I believe the weather system had an onshore wind, which will pile up water in a surge into those regions.

So they picked a day when both the full moon and a stiff onshore breeze causes higher than normal tides to take the measurement and project this temporary and normal reading outwards to fulfill their voodoo predictions and scare the uneducated?

You can’t be an idiot and so effective all the time.

Idiocy is neither consistent in terms of “quality”,
      nor well organized
nor can it operate on a global scale and with such synchronicity,
nor can it protect its operators from the consequences of their destructive behaviour.

Idiots end up poor, beaten and in prison, well before the average men.
But Agenda 2030 “idiots” always stay on the shiny side of life
and have always some deus ex machinas in their favour(like activist judges) to pop up whenever they need them.

Tony is cherry-picking again. He fails to take into account that in the Medieval 1950’s they didn’t know how to measure sea level or how to read thermometers. They were a simple primitive people. Now we have AI models which are always right and always wrong

  3. Gamecock says:

‘But the report cautions that this is a conservative statement’

    And conservatives are bad. M’kay?

‘global drivers of climate change such as glacial melt’

Wut? Do this poots even know what ‘climate’ means?

‘the team predicts that in the next decade water levels . . . could rise’

Do these geniuses know what ‘predicts’ means? ‘Predicts’ and ‘could’ don’t go together.

    Adolescent science.

How many coastal dwelling sea level virtue signalers are willing to raze their massive cities, move their large populations and cease ground water depletion in order to address surface subsidence?

  5. DD More says:

Note that Battery Park is in the Hudson River outlet.
Anyone studying hydraulics, learned that more water flowing or narrowing in a channel, will always increase the height of the water.
Any record on Hudson river flows?

So these scientists were taught in school, how to make things fit a political agenda, rather than how to develop and propagate the truth. They had to have intentionally misrepresented the facts. They could not have bungled into this. Religious fanaticism at its best.
