They have played 30 minutes of wall time, which means maybe 5 minutes of actual playing time.

And people complain that cricket is slow? ROFLMAO

Hey leave cricket alone, it’s a civilised game.

Anyways, I’d rather watch 90 minutes of scoreless draw by 22 overpaid underworked playboys scheming and cheating freekicks at every opportunity……/sarc off

  2. bubbagyro says:

    Don’t get defensive…

Cricket has lots of beer time outs, as you have mentioned. These intermissions in the Super Bowl are just badly needed beer time outs!

    • Baa Humbug says:

In cricket, attack isn’t attack and defense isn’t defense.

The scorers (batting side) are the attack. They do so by defending their wicket.
The defenders (the fielding side) defend by attacking the defending attackers with their (pace) attack or (spin) attack.

So the attackers attack by defending, and the defenders defend by attacking the attackers who are actually defending.

So you see I was actually attacking by defending (I think) 🙂

  3. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

Pittsburgh was too sloppy in the first half. 3 turnovers. I was wrong.

  4. Andy Weiss says:

That halfitme show was an abomination the game sloppy and seemingly endless ads made it almost unwatchable. Do people remember the products, even if they remember the ads for an hour or so?

  5. Slimething says:

The puppy bowl half time show was better

  6. Perry says:

It seems black eyed peas are a dish better not served at all. The report at http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/black-eyed-peas-wow-super-bowl-with-stunning-light-show_1198623 is completely at odds with my perception.
I was so bored, I toddled off to bed (UK) before third quarter started.
