Still Waiting On The Rapid Response Team

It has now been over six months since I submitted my first query to them, and I am still waiting for their devastating response which will humiliate and humble me.

Global temperature records from HadCRUT and GISS show that the period from 1910 to 1940 warmed nearly as quickly as the period from 1970 to 2000. 1913 set the all time temperature record in North America, and during the 1930s, as much as 80% of the US simultaneously suffered from drought.

1937 saw the most powerful hurricane to ever hit the US, and the 1940s saw the most US hurricane strikes of any decade.

What caused these severe climatic patterns during the first half of the century?

While you’re at it, ask them why temps increased faster from 1700-1800…

If you use that for “natural warming”, then man is responsible for no warming and there is no AGW

    Steve,

Not sure if you are censoring all my comments, but I pointed out to you months ago that CSRRT only responds to media and lawmakers.

“Media and government officials are encouraged to send requests using our inquiry form. For those who are not media or government contacts but have questions regarding climate, please visit our Resources page. The informative links there can answer most questions.”

You may of course get a job with a news company, apply for a position in the Obama administration or run for national office and resubmit your question.

  3. Andy Weiss says:

Maybe they should be called “The Vapid Response Team”, which is how they handle Government and media requests with stock answers.

    • Sundance says:

Agreed but I would add that “Climate Science” in big green letters in the above picture, be changed to “Climate Seance” since communication with spirits is essential in determing future apocalyptic scenarios for the press to frighten children with.

  4. Jimash says:

I just copied the question and the address of the vapid response team and submitted them with a respectful request to my congressperson.

    • Tony Duncan says:

      Jmash,

a very sensible thing to do. Wonder why no one else here thought to do something like that?

      • Jimash says:

There could be lots of reasons.
In my case my Representative is a Republican elected from a very Democratic district and a former state assemblyman and he seems very responsive. He calls my office phone and invites me in on conference calls.

So maybe some staffer takes the 30 seconds to cut and paste .

You don’t honestly think this will get a reply do you, Tony?

  5. Anything is possible says:

Steve, this may just make your day/weekend/month/year/century/millenium

Rapid Response Answer: “due to the low CO2 levels”…..fill in any BS you feel necessary

  7. Amino Acids in Meteorites says:

If they felt their funding was threatened you’d see some scrambling.

  8. Wayne Ward (truthsword) says:

What is a member of “media”? Specifically, by definition. What a bunch of pansies who believe in an elite class and a peasant class. They simply don’t have the testicular fortitude to be honest and and answer serious questions. Again, if you are on the side of a debate that is afraid to debate people and answer tough questions, guess what, not the right side.
