The Hockey Team WantsTo Make Policy Without Interference From Policymakers

They want the government to do as they are told, and not ask any questions. What kind of democracy is this when rogue scientists can’t ramrod their lies and socialist agenda through the Congress?

Poor little cry babies can’t take a little scutiny. You’re breaking my heart!

You know….they have been arguing this same argument for a 1/2 century

…seems like they would have proved it by now 😉

The “B” in MBH98 is this Chicken Little Whiner. He is trying to save his long lost reputation by blaming other for his errors. His most prominent error was to have his name related to Mikey MANN!

I posted this link in another thread the other day. A very interesting take on the notion of a cadre of experts. This thing makes a lot of sense to me and opened my eyes wider. I believe that this is where Mann and Hansen and their sycophants like Tamino and Joe Romm had anticipated being by now (sans Climategate).

It coins the term Junta of Experts which kind of makes sense, even here in the USA, but is mostly referencing Europe in the article.

“This has not happened by putsch or coup d’etat, at least not one involving any guns or tanks. There are no colonels or partisans who have captured the garrisons and seized the telephone exchange.

Yet a junta has installed itself nonetheless, a junta of ‘experts’, technocrats, those educated in the knowledge of What Needs To Be Done. Wherever these masters of the European universe happen to be hovering at any one moment, the refrain in effect is the same: ‘Of course, there is no question that you are still allowed to vote however you like. Nevertheless, the policies absolutely cannot change even if the government does.”

There is much more at the article. I would love to hear what our European friends think of this ‘theory’.

Here in the USA, many used to think that Europe lagged behind us by a decade in politics and popular culture. I believe that in politics, they may be leading us by a decade. This is our future if we let it happen.

Europe is following in the footsteps of the US even in this.

Our democracy in Europe has been steadily whittled away for over 20 years now, Blade.

Gradually more and more powers have been acquired by the Commission in Brussels which of course is unelected, unaccountable, secretive as well as bureaucratic and unashamedly corrupt. (The EU accountants have refused to sign off the EU accounts for several years now because so much money has “disappeared”. A few years ago the chief auditor, Martti Andreasson, refused to participate in the cover up of this and went public. As a result her boss, Neil Kinnock sacked her. Kinnock of course (one of the worst politicians the UK has seen in recent years) along with his wife are on the EU gravy train big style and still are paid huge pensions now they have retired.)

Most of the laws passed in the UK Parliament are actually fulfilling EU Directives that we have no choice over. Above all the wishes of the voters are just ignored.
