A lot of cold water on both sides of the Arctic, around western Europe, the Atlantic hurricane basin, and the Gulf of Mexico. Jeff Masters recently wrote that Gulf of Mexico SSTs are the highest on record.
This will slow ice melt and reduce hurricane potential. Cloud naming will likely proceed at near record pace however.
Has The Jester-Jousting Adjuster aka ‘handcuffs’ Hansen regurgitated his super El-Nino forecast for this summer? Its hard to keep track of how many times he has blathered the same dead-certain prediction.
La Nina seems reluctant to give way again this year. Will we see El Nino any time soon?

La Nada
“John B., M.D. says:

La Nada”
According to Alarmists the La Nada effect is a recently discovered ‘missing link’ in climate science. Huge $$ grant money is needed to study it.
It’s believed to cause extremely unstable weather/climate conditions. Warning Your house maybe struck by lightning. Proof of AGW/CC. 🙂
La Nada is due to their changing requirements for claiming either Nino or NINA. But La Nada is probably more common than the other two.
