  1. Latitude says:

but the past 7 years have been stable…..a little decline

  2. Andy DC says:

It is certain that Romm and Hansen, during their nightly non-denominational prayer session, pray for a 220 mph hurricane making a direct on Miami or a CAT 5 tornado making a direct hit on Chicago.

  3. Marian says:

    When a hurricane does strike..

It’ll be all the same old Alarmist Warmists blaming it on , well you know. Global Warming, Climate Change!

  4. This sort of “logic” is always bizarre to come across. Storm strength is determined by relatively cold air hitting relatively warm air. That’s meteorology 101. AGW theory claims that most of the warming will be at the poles (polar amplification) which reduces the differential. So *on average* storm strength will reduce because *on average* the jet streams will weaken slightly.

Only in very unusual and rare cases would the extra warmth contribute to a stronger storm. However, if you want to talk about the effects of *global* warming you need to look at the big picture, which is the overall averages. If you focus on events that will become rarer and rarer you are being highly misleading to say the least.
