I have said as much for over 25 years. This is why AGW does not play well in rural areas.
Recently took a subway ride past Reagan National Airport just outside DC. It is a huge area, maybe a mile square, with no vegetation, entirely covered by roads, runways, parking area, terminal, etc. Don’t you think that, plus constant jet exhaust might knock the temperatures up more than a lttle, even before any inevitable temperature fudging takes place?
