Every month, the Earth has yellow (warm) spots and purple (cold) spots. It has been like that for billions of years.
Every month, some of our friends at NOAA and Weather Underground and Climate Progress find the yellow spots and declare them to be proof of global warming. They ignore the purple spots and ignore the fact that global temperatures have not changed for 15 years.

Yellow is the new normal though /scar off….
Sorry no yellow is just so 1990s. Green is the new yellow.
When DC, Chicago, London and Paris are warm, it is proof of catastrophic warming. When the are cold, it is Global Weirding or a local effect.
