There is no indication that droughts are getting worse. In 1934, 80% of the US was simultaneously experiencing drought.

The “extreme drought” graph almost looks like a plot of sunspot numbers … any connection?
Here in Colorado, drought seems to track sunspots. That last drought was at the peak of the previous cycle.
Why are you using a reference that’s 13 years old? That’s more than one generation in science.
