I think we should read ‘ human-induced local warming’ The same spot with or without a city will make a big differents.
So what we see is global city warming. Sand or Asphalt.
The ‘Best’ Project always was a scam. Surface temperature is primarily affected by precipitation.The US. has just gone through a One Solar/Earth Year ‘Dry’ Cycle. Of course the surface temperature stations in the path of this Cycle would register a lack of precipitation by showing higher temperatures. (sunlight) The surface temperature stations in Asia and Europe
would show cooler temperatures, reflecting the influence of the Current Two Solar/Earth Year ‘Wet’/Normal period that initiated around the longitude of Beijing in March 2011, and is now affecting the US.(thirty degrees longitude/month with the Westward Solar orbit of the Earth’s Magnetic field.)

This is brazen bullshit. These people now really believe they can say ANYTHING and people will believe it.

The Warmists have never been able to conclusively prove that the 0.8C degeees of warming during the past century is human induced. In fact, it now appears that most of that increase has been produced artificially through the manipulation (ie. interpolation, homogenization, TOB adjustments) of land-based temperature data.
The Warmists are hopelessly attached to a theory that has not held up to real-world observation. Global temperatures have not risen in 15 years, there is no hot spot over the tropics, ocean heat content is not increasing, and arctic sea ice is not disappearing.
It may take ClimateGate 3 to finally put an end to all the alarmist hot air.
People are dumber than I thought if they believe the Guardian article when it says The Earth’s temperature has risen 1.5 degrees in the last 250 years. Don’t think we had too many SUVs driving around that long ago.

Our local paper ( Star Ledger ) had the obligatory “Denier turns alarmist” story but called him “Miller” because that is how closely and carefully they follow and check out these stories that they believe.
A true skeptic never makes up his mind completely. He always looks and considers. To say I was believer in one thing, now I’m a bleiver in another is not being skeptical.
