Wow, start spreading the news McIdiot, the rest of the country is freezing. If I had a Tweeter account I would spread this as far as the frozen airwaves would let me.
Keep this tweet for when people want to say how good McIdiot is.

    • Gina says:

Speak for yourself. It’s perfectly sunny and warm in my area. (roughly 85F the last two days.)

      • david says:

Are you the rest of the country Gina? Do you not see the stupidiy of using your local weather to relate that to CAGW; most certainly when the US as a whole is very cool?

  2. Rosco says:

What will these guys do if (when) the hypothesis is abandoned ?

    • Me says:

Old McKitten can sell the farm! err claim EI EI Doe.

    • Jimbo says:

If / when the hypothesis is abandoned they will have to out in the world and do some actual useful work instead of being of officially sanctioned payments for telling fairy tales.

    • Jason Calley says:

What will they do? They will say, “Abandoned? What do you mean? We never thought THAT! No, no, no! You must have misunderstood. Our position was much too nuanced for you to understand!”

  3. Jambon-X says:

The current warmth in California is due to easterly winds descending the Sierra Nevada mountains.

“Fossil fuel” is responsible for this, because, uh…

    … uhhhhhhhh …

    … ?

  4. Looking at the graphic, we can consider light green and yellow to be pretty much within the norm, so essentially the majority of the country is at or below average except for a few tiny spots.

Oh, and Excitable Bill’s link doesn’t even mention San Fran. It discusses the LA area and south.
