Obama Wiretapped Congress

Comparisons to Nixon are unfair.  Obama makes Nixon look like a great American hero.

California congressman David Nunes made the claim yesterday that the Justice Department wiretapped telephones in the House of Representative’s Cloak Room, an exclusive part of the Capitol where members are able to privately interact with one another. Nunes made the claim on Hugh Hewitt’s radio show.

And there is another question to be answered. Did Darth Vader Blew Up the Death Star?

The amount of control wire tapping can give an out of control government is tremendous. If any of those whose conversations that were stolen, spoke of any illegal or immoral activity that could be used against them (blackmail), then there goes THAT watchdog.

The Obama administration has prosecuted more whistle blowers than all other presidents in history combined. I guess a Darth Vader comparison is appropriate.

I would love it if he can produce some proof. But I do not think the MSM is going to get “het up” about that one.

No, but some members of his own party might. Even his own party is not going to take too kindly to being wiretapped.

    • Robertv says:

Those of ‘his own party’ should realize that Obambi has no party. He is only loyal to himself. Soon they too will be useless eaters.

Hey PJ! In essence, the cloak room phones were tapped, if they were used to communicate with the AP phones that were under surveillance. My guess is that the current regime knew this would happen.

At least Nixon believed in the country he served. He knew the last thing it needed was ‘fundamental change.’ The fundamental change from the wrong way of doing things already occurred, when this country was created.

  5. John B., M.D. says:

The article has been amended to clarify what Rep. Nunes said – not as bad as he had implied earlier.
