Arguing With Alarmists

I say :

I disagree with the (so called) consensus, because of this fact and this fact and this fact and this …… etc.

Alarmist says :

You are wrong, because you disagree with the consensus. Look at this list of organizations which disagree with you.

I say :

That is exactly what I said – I disagree with the consensus, and here are the details of why I disagree with them ….

The Three Laws of Rationality (Logic):

    1). Law of Non-contradiction:
    “A” is not non-“A”
    2). Law of Identity:
    “A” is “A”
    3). Law of Excluded Middle:
    Either “A” or non-“A”

Disclaimer: These universal laws do not apply to liberals in the co-opted, modern sense of the word. There is no end to any argument with touchy-feely progressive fools who only want to win, and then hope to establish mastery–not unlike a dog chasing the mail truck. Once they catch up to it (at the next mailbox), they don’t know what to do with it.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Arguing with deluded intransigent warmists will drive anyone nuts.
    I don’t bother anymore.

    Hi Steven,
I recently had an online argument with a Warmie, who claimed that all skeptical scientists were shills for Big Oil. I gave a few counterexamples, including you, Anthony, and yours truly. Then I asked him to name one specific example of a prominent Climate Realist who’s in the pocket of Big Oil.

His response was an attempt to change the subject, and to muddy the waters with some link bombing. He didn’t have the cojones to admit that his invalid generalization was dead wrong.

All alarmists can do is cite their hand crafted “adjusted” data as fact. Then, after excluding skeptics from the process, they claim consensus.

    The Warmists Creed

    1. I believe in Gaia the almighty.
    2. I believe in Al Gore, her only Son, our Lord.
    3. He was conceived by the power of the Bill Clinton and created the internet.
    4. Under the Supreme Court, He was defeated, denied, and grew a beard.
    5. He descended to Tennessee. In a sad way he rose again.
    6. He ascended into Stockholm and was awarded a Nobel Prize for peace.
    7. He will come again and again and again and again… to judge the skeptics and the deniers.
    8. I believe in the IPCC,
    9. the holy climate Church, the communion of climate experts,
    10. the pricing of carbon,
    11. the resurrection of windmills,
    12. and the agenda everlasting.
