Colleges which have divested their fossil fuel investments should take it one step further. They need to stop purchasing any fossil fuels, products made from fossil fuels, or any products made using equipment that was made using fossil fuels.
If they did this for one month next winter, they could quickly end global warming stupidity on college campuses, and provide their students with a less useless education.
Wow! If they did as suggested, in say Jan or Feb, they might all be gone by Spring. Priceless!
Some enterprising university president should simply declare May to be “Earth Month” and turn off all the water heaters in the dorm. Some cold showers do the body good and help focus the mind.
They could just sit in the dark and decompose on some garden seeds……improving the earth in two ways.

” Japan and Ethiopia have set up a scheme that will allow Japanese firms to earn cheap carbon credits by helping Ethiopia cut CO2 emissions, the Japanese government said.” Tom Nelson
Whaaat? Ethiopia needs to cut CO2???? What’s next? Maybe helping homeless shelters cut back on their food service so Greenies can eat more and offset it? This proves the whole scheme is about keeping the poor from increasing energy use. The Ethiopia plan is just wealth redistribution. They should be helping them INCREASE CO2 since it’s always associated with wealth and progress.

Yep. No paint or things painted, no plastic or things made with plastic, no synthetic fabrics. Oh, and might extend that to things transported to the college by fossil fuel. All campus patrols on horseback, all food brought in by horse teams, no asphalt paving, no asphalt roofing. Just force them to eat their own dog food.
Here is what that might look like:

Nope, no good. I see a car in the background. I also forgot no food grown with petrochemical fertilizers, no paraffin candles, no petrochemical pesticides, no cosmetics made from petrochemicals, etc.
