Not completely OT, and, well…

That looks like one of those new .03 caliber assault weapons.
By the way, if you happen to have a gun control nut tell you that “we need to ban assault rifles!” just ask them one simple question: “What, exactly IS an assault rifle? Define “assault rifle” for me, please.”
Trust me, I’ve done this. You would not believe the nebulous, ill-defined versions of what an assault rifle is. Then tell them, “I’ll discuss the subject with you when you know WTF you are talking about.”
In NZ an assault rifle is defined by:
1 magazine holding more than 7 rounds
2 has a free standing milatary style pistol grip
3 has bayonet lugs
4 has a flash suppressor
5 bugger, slipped my mind what number 5 is.
We have to obtain an E cat licence explaining why we need one,and it has to be a good reason. They are hard to get.
Oh,number 5,a folding or telescopic butt.
It looks kind of like Mike Nelson’s spear gun. (I don’t know how they get the spears in that little magazine, though–or get them out of it, for that matter.)
Is that a Kentucky Long Assault Rifle?
That Nz, oops ,NZ. Law against bayonet lugs is a good thing. Bayonet attacks have been a big problem here in the states, particularly in the inner cities. According to the FBI statistics almost 3% of murders involve rifles or shotguns and I am almost positive that some of those must have involved guns with bayonet lugs and some of those must have had bayonets mounted . I bet with the right computer program you could even create a statistic although I doubt if all the zeros would fit on this page
Ban hands. You are more likely to be killed by a fist than by a rifle in the US.
I quite like the miniature hunting rifle myself.
