Snow began falling in some areas of north central Montana and along the Rocky Mountain Front early on Friday, leaving some people checking their calendar to see if it is still, in fact, summer.
Below freezing temperatures are forecast to cover much of Alaska and Canada in about a week. All part of Dr. Hansen’s “hottest year ever.”
Rutgers is already showing above normal snow in the Northern Hemisphere.

And as we here in Buffalo approach the fourth anniversary (Oct 12/13), I hope we don’t experience another “October Surprise”.
Thats Global Climate Disruption for you!

Indeed, cold temperatures versus hot temperature; an integral part of global warming and climate change. It all depends on proportion and the warm prevails. Why do you insist on injecting weather into the long term climate change debate. Desperation? Why not balance the subject and search for places where it is getting warmer? Now, in 2010.
I do understand that Canada is smaller than Moscow.
baffled24,
The earth is now cooling. It has been cooling since 1998. Even a casual look at graphs shows that. Unless, of course, you look at James Hansen’s nutty graphs of out-of-control global warming. Is it global warming that is out of control or is it James Hansen?
I came to this site to find the truth…Canada isn’t smaller than moscow…duh….Oh well, maybe I’ll hang around till you get your act together.
From reading press reports this summer, one might have thought that Moscow was the largest place on the planet.
fishnski,
You come here to find truth? Or do you come here to be sarcastic?
“While snow in September is not unusual at higher elevations and in Glacier National Park, many lower elevations also received a dusting, with some areas reporting several inches of snow by mid-day on Friday.”
It appears that it is not that unusual over all.
It is the LOWER AREAS that got it a little earlier than usual.
I would not get carried away on this since it could radically change the other way.

This after the warmer early part of the year has been reported continually in the media and all over the warmist blogs. And they scream this is hottest year on record and similar pablums. That with only after first 5 months had been lived in.
Meanwhile it is well known that the media and warmist blogs avoids posting about record cold in South America.Record ice extent coverage around Antarctica.Often avoid reporting about all that amazing cold and snow last winter in NORTHERN HEMISPHERE.
You have to come to places like this one to know anything that is going on in the world BESIDES hot and warm events. It is pathetic when you people deliberately leave out the cold and cool weather in the warmist blogs.
It is a common complaint you people dredge up that this is weather event and not climate.I am sick of it and what is more.It is indicative that you guys do not give a dam about what is really going on in the world of the planets climate system. It is all about your CO2/environmentalist end game.
You are too funny.
