Major Hurricane Igor (135 mph winds) is targeting Bermuda later in the week. Fortunately it is expected to weaken before getting there. The track takes Igor over cooler water left behind by Hurricane Danielle, which is probably going to save Bermuda from being hit by a major hurricane.
The image below shows the track of Danielle and the cooling it caused after it passed through.
Igor will in turn cool things down and make life tougher for future storms.

It is really impressive how much these storms dump heat out of the ocean and atmosphere. These storms aren’t having ideal conditions the past few years, if its not wind shear, its low SST.
