The interior of the ice sheet has seen a bit of warm up over the past week, with high temperatures forecast tomorrow up to a sweltering -22F (-30C.)
Later in the week, windchill is forecast to drop down to a more comfortable -103F.

When the Greenland ice sheet melts in a few years, sea level will rise 6m (20 ft.) This will provide corals with a wider geographic range of potential habitat. Scuba diving is expected to become a major tourist attraction in tropical England before the end of the century.
Maybe I can even grow tropical flowers here at 36 north in the Appalachian foot hills.
I would not need to cut as much fire wood!
