The Key Components Of Climate Forecasting

Practically everyone involved with short term climate modeling (months to seasons) will tell you that the two key input parameters are sea surface temperatures and soil moisture.

However, neither of these are very predictable more than a few months into the future.

The relationship between sea surface temperature and air temperature is clear.

So why do some climate scientists claim that they can forecast climate decades from now? They can’t forecast the key parameters which affect the climate, so obviously they can’t forecast the climate.

I have a forecast, if we get the CO2 back up to 7000ppm again there will be a massive explosion of life again.
