I’ll bet there are Irish Whiskey sales records being broken left right and centre. (Not to mention drinking records)

Jimbo’s coming up with some good ones!
In this forecasting carnival, the voice worth listening to imo has been Joe Bastardi, of Accuweather.
He called this December freeze very well.
His current forecast, found here:
http://www.accuweather.com/ukie/bastardi-europe-blog.asp?partner=accuweather
It calls for a much warmer winter in the UK after the Christmas season.
It should be noted that Joe, a very experienced meteorologist, was sidetracked at Accuweather because of his AGW skepticism.
