   By this logic wouldn’t we just be supplanting the “slave” labor of “fossil fuel powered” machine for the slave labor of alternative energy powered machines?

   I am going to start a start a trade union to look after their interests. Perhaps I will call it the British Union for Machines .

   Well, I for one do not want to go back to hand digging ditches. So, is he saying that we should get rid of fossil fueled machinery and resurrect slavery? I don’t imagine Mouhot sees himself as slave, these “intellectuals” always see themselves as benevolent masters in the new order.
