Looking pretty sharp so far. Pay no attention to the -46F in International Falls, Minnesota last night.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

More of that great work from the NOAA. They got a super computer too? I can sell them my core duo and tell them to get in touch with Piers Corbyn.
What shame the NOAA is bringing to the United States.
Amino, make sure you get a few Mil for that thing. Maybe you can have Piers pre-load it with weather for the next few years. Bound to be better than anything they could determine on their own.
If you look at the map, I’m sitting in that tiny yellow spot around the Puget Sound (WA). Somehow, we have escaped the wrath of La Nina. And Bastardi says the pattern he sees now is like nothing in the record. He says next year is worse, and so does Piers. Vee shall see.
Frankly, i’m hoping for arctic Armageddon….. To shut these idiots up. Bring on the Maunder, baby!
Sure would be nice to have some of that imaginary warmth right about now. My utility bills are kicking my butt!
Yep mine too, last thursday our G&E company asked the state PSC for another price hike. Our G&E Co. was bought out 2 years ago by a Spanish Co.(Iberdrola) who is the 4th largest maker of windmills & solar in the world
Be reasonable Dave.
The Spanish have got to recoup the money they have lost on stupid windmills.
That’s right!! They win either way
But we still have 2+ months to go. I’m reluctant to say a forecast is a bust until it has time to verify, even if it does look pretty lame at this point.
Ever notice how the MET and NOAA are never seen together-makes me wonder…
is that anywhere near frostbite falls?
Way off base. Thats the best the US can do. But to be fair the British said basically the same thing Warm and toasty. Look heres the facts as I read them. Bp screwed up the gulf stream which in turn screwed up the Jet stream along with a cold pdo (cool pacific) the atlantic is cooling along with low count sunspots and volcanic activity. Did I mis anything? I’d say we are in for some long cold nights my friends.
