   Given that all data shows a trend towards increasing sea ice in the Antarctic over the past three decades, should Dr Mackintosh not adjust his presentation to highlight oceanic cooling?

   There is some water .75 degrees above normal off the southern tip of Antarctica. That will no doubt destroy the ice cap and spell doom for humanity!

   The ocean beneath the Fimbul Ice Shelf is cold.

   …”Models of the ocean circulation in the area show warm deep water flowing in under the ice shelves. As this is not observed, the models are most likely wrong and should be improved. This is an important step towards an understanding of the processes under the Fimbul Ice Shelf.”…

   Unless these reports include a link to the study, or some actual detail about what they did, they’re totally ignoreworthy. Even more so when they make conclusions based on models, rather than actual observations.
