Scientists : California To Be Destroyed By SuperDooperStorm

Ok, this storm will make them stop talking about drought in California.
And this news will stop them talking about drought in South Africa and Mozambique

But the surfing…
Move to Arizona – should be great there! 😉
OT
The land that global warming forgot:
….many residents from the Plains into the East are sick of the cold…. There has been a lack of brief warm spells people can often look forward to during midwinter, and it looks like the cold will hold strong through at least mid-February……. Unlike December, which was coldest compared to normal in the Southeast, the cold air on the way through the middle of next month is expected to be most extreme overall in the Northeast…..

Things are leaning toward Piers being right, not Joe.
Seriously I suspect most people don’t event read an article that the first word in the title is “Scientists.”
Wasn’t that disagreement about Europe?
Maybe so, but I thought it was the Northern Hemisphere in general
I looked up the thread here, and it is Europe:
European weather after Christmas

How does California save itself from this?
Does it pump out more CO2 to cause long-term drought, or does it pump out less CO2 to avoid the long-term increases in precipitation that would result from pumping out more CO2?
Over to you, Arnie……..
I didn’t know California knew it needed to save itself. I get the distinct impression here it feels above the rest of, well, almost anything.
No longer Arnie – now it is MoonBeam.
Rumour has it the ex-governor is looking for some job related to climate change psychosis – give the Gropinator a boat, put him off the coast, and tell him to defend the state. If he does not want to get in the boat, give him some sandals, a sign, and an appropriate street corner……
If it does will it be worse than this?

South Africa floods.
“Mr Schiceka told the BBC his team would also look at long-term issues.
“Among other things we are looking at, is that people must not build in flood plains.”
“People who have been displaced must not go back,” said the minister.

It was C02 way way way back too I guess.
Even larger storms happened in past centuries, over the dates 212, 440, 603, 1029, 1418, and 1605, according to geological evidence
SO WHAT! It is a well known FACT that some time in the future California will be wiped off the face of the earth. Since I was a child I have heard how some disaster will destroy California. The Eastern edge of Death Valley will become the new West Coast. The Sierras and Cascades will just Magically disappear. A Massive Tsunami will obliterate everything west of the Sierras! An asteroid has California’s name written on it and it will strike Sacramento Delta region. The entire San Andreas fault will slip 4 ft and destroy all buildings two hundred miles east and west of the fault line.
Just when we thought we knew what was waiting for the residents of the Great State of California a group of scientists come along with a new JOYFUL future scenario for the state. California residents are not happy if they do not have at least two disasters in the wings waiting for the curtain to go up.
Oh, this is a weather thing.
I thought the article was probably about Jerry Brown, Boxer, Feinstein, Waxman, etc. ….
