   I think you’ll find all that Arctic “cold” is actually man-made heat energy in a new and extreme form, colliding with all the moisture in the atmosphere caused by global warming to create huge amounts of snow and ice.

   Instead of the denialist word “cold”, we should start using a proper term like “quasi-hot” or talk about “negatively intense heat” to describe this phenomenon caused by man’s unbounded capitalism and greed.

   (Sorry, I’ve spent too much time in the Huffington Post comment section today.)

   I call it a crock of sh#t. This study is similar to trees moving up mountains due to global warming which is now moving down due to global warming. This is what is known in the UK as a two way bet.

   Hot, cold, average temps, drought, flood, colder winters, warmer winters, more avalanches, fewer avalanches, Earth to spin faster, Earth to spin slower are all caused by global warming.

   This is the dumbest stinking thing I have ever read in my life.

   Warm air rises at the Equator from the sun’s heat and cold air comes down from the Arctic to replace it (deflected West by the Coriolis force); this is what gives rise to earthly winds.

   Saying no more “cold air comes from the Arctic” is to say there is no more wind.

   I am sick of this shit and there is nobody minding the store anymore, it’s a free-for-all for junior high schoolers left on their own to tear apart anything that “knowledge” represents

     I would also say that Hansen, Trenberth, and similar ilk would be quite toned down in public if someone were to get up when they are speaking to a crowd and tell them point blank to their faces,

     “I am TIRED of your LYING and EXAGGERATED SHIT and so are a lot of other people.”

     If they hear it at all, they don’t hear it enough

     Agree, a whole generation has been indoctrinated worldwide, but us old timers will adapt, like we always have. Pay back is a M@@@ F@@@ which mother nature has shown the last couple of years

   Whenever I hear the term “Top Scientists” or “Top Government Scientists”, it always reminds me of the ending sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indiana Jones asks the official about who is investigating the ark, and he replies “TOP men” (as a warehouse worker is moving the crate with the ark into a large generic government storage facility).
