Various Scenarios For Sea Level Rise

Sea level rise rates show no correlation with atmospheric CO2 levels. Sea level rose faster from 1920 to 1960 than it has since 1960. Plotted below are the three different emission scenarios.

1. High CO2

Medium CO2

    Clearly the consequences of increased CO2 cannot be measured merely by reality.

    In any case, I have heard that the tipping point starts next Tuesday.

    Various levels of stupid at Penn State (or maybe it’s Accuweather). Read the last sentence…

    Researchers at the University of Illinois have found that four species of North American bumblebees have been on the decline. The cause for this decline has been linked to the Nosema bombi fungus that has infected all of them.

    This is a concern because they can pollinate plants in colder weather than honeybees, according to the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences.

    Yeah! Doncha no that Penn State College is just out side of Peoria, Illinois and is part of the Illinois higher education group. It is one level below the Community Colleges and just above the trade schools where the learn how to best push brooms at Mickey D’s!
