You know, this doesn’t sound half bad. I’d like to see someone run the numbers as to how big a lake would be needed to obliterate that frightening 2mm sea level rise completely.
Shovel ready jobs for sure, especially if they think bigger and aim right for an ocean. The blasting from inland to one of the coasts could be sped up with special nukes (yes, it’s been done, no liberal bedwetting needed). Presumably the salt would fall out eventually too leaving nearly freshwater for those put-upon future generations. The animals and normal humans would love it, liberal humans would hate it (of course).
Terraforming Earth!
