    Right….

    • I love Superbowl Sunday. When we lived in Austin we would go out to Enchanted Rock to hike, because everyone was home watching football. No traffic, no crowds.

Back in those days, Texas was warm this time of year.

        before the warm cold!

I believe i will be warm and comfortable with a ‘beverage’ or 2 watching the game… and here goes the ‘back and forth’ ….

        go green bay go….

i know people are kinda tired of Pittsburgh being good for so long that they are pulling for Green Bay. but Aaron Rogers isn’t good against a pressure defense. he is good on a soft defense like Atlanta’s. but I think it’s going to be very tough for him tomorrow. i think Pittsburgh is going to win. but if Green Bay still had Brett Favre, even today at 41, if they flew him in to play, they’d win.

You obviously didn’t watch the Vikings this year, Favre is done. If he was still the Packers QB, they’d be sitting at home watching tomorrow.

The game itself is too close to call IMO, the Steelers have the advantage on experience, but the fact that it is be played on turf, indoors makes the Packers’ passing game very dangerous (ask the Falcons).

    Go Packers!

I watched every minute. You are blaming Favre for very poor offensive line coaching and play.

Also, Pittsburgh is not Atlanta. For all of the last 2 weeks I have been hearing most people underestimate the Steelers. Tomorrow that all ends when they are on the field.

Is very difficult to throw off your back. I agree, Favre is done, but I’d like to have seen him with a better team. Vikings have talent, but they were so poorly disciplined I’m surprised they had the record that they did.

I’m not blaming Favre for anything, but what made him such a dangerous QB in his prime was his ability to make plays when his protection broke down. At the age of 41, he no longer has the mobility to extend those plays and make the throws.

He shouldn’t be expected to make up for others shortcomings all the time. He spent the latter years at Green Bay, the year at new York, and both years at Minn, doing that. I think he can still make a team like Miami, that just needs a QB, better. I hope he comes back one more time. Some of the greatest games in the last 20 years were with him playing.
