The world’s leading climate scientists explain that the cold winter in 2011 is due to missing ice in the Arctic. The image above shows the difference between the warm winter of 2006 and the cold winter of 2011. Areas marked in green have more ice than 2006, and areas marked in red have less ice than 2006.
Apparently a thin sliver of missing ice west of Greenland is causing record cold across much of the planet, and making all the Polar Bears starve to death.
lol, exactly!
But you haven’t taken into account the feedback effects of having .0002% less ice! We are rapidly approaching a tipping point!
ah the invention of the perpetual tipping point….
How can it be “global” warming if it’s colder than normal in some places?
It’s quite simple really. Since AGW causes no temperature difference, cooling and warming, any temperature change is the direct result of AGW. This science has long been settled and new scientific rules apply. Normally science is always open for debate and evidence, but our climate science is a special science unto it’s own. Our new version of science protects us from the evil oil companies and you deniers. So once again, the answer to your question, simply put, all temperature change is a direct result of AGW.
I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’ve also been wondering how global warming causes hot, cold, drought, flood, snow, rain…
Isn’t it what we used to call ‘weather’? What caused weather before global warming?
